Sautéed Pearl Oyster Mushrooms
Papa’s Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8-10 lbs Pearl Oyster Mushrooms, washed and cut
- one big onion
- one garlic clove
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. vegetable broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- two shakes of pepper
Instructions:
- Cut onion into cubes
- Press garlic
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil in a big skillet
- Add mushrooms and stir
- Increase heat
- Add vegetable broth and stir
- Be sure to let mushrooms brown by pressing them against the pan
- When mushrooms are done, add salt and pepper
- Optional: add ground up chili and chives
- Enjoy!
